Privacy Policy & No-Logs Statement

OkiCard ("Company", "we", "us", "our") respects your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances it may be disclosed.

Because OkiCard operates as a low-risk prepaid payment instrument, our data collection practices are based on strict data minimization principles.

By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Data Minimization Commitment

We are built around minimal data collection.

To issue a card, we only require:

  • Telegram User ID
  • No passport
  • No national ID
  • No driver's license
  • No selfie verification

We do not request identity documents for standard tier usage under defined limits.

We do not create traditional personal banking accounts.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When registering, we collect:

  • Telegram User ID

This information is used solely for account authentication and service access.

2.2 Payment Information

When funding your card, blockchain transactions are processed via public networks (e.g., USDT TRC20, ERC20, BTC).

We do not collect:

  • Source-of-funds documentation
  • Tax identification numbers
  • Residential addresses

Transaction records are linked to internal card IDs, not verified personal identities.

2.3 Technical Data

We may collect limited technical information necessary for system security and fraud prevention:

  • IP address (temporary security logging)
  • Device type
  • Session timestamps

This data is not used for profiling or marketing resale.

3. No-Logs Statement

OkiCard operates under a data minimization and limited retention framework.

We do not maintain behavioral profiles of users.

We do not store unnecessary personal data.

Transaction logs are retained only for the minimum period required for:

  • Fraud prevention
  • Dispute resolution
  • Regulatory compliance obligations

After this period, logs are automatically purged or anonymized in accordance with our internal retention schedule.

We do not store private keys.

We do not custody user wallets.

4. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell user data.

We do not share transaction histories with tax authorities (CRS, IRS, DAC8, CARF frameworks) unless served with a direct and valid court order issued by a competent authority in the applicable jurisdiction.

Because OkiCard does not collect tax IDs, residency declarations, or identity documents for standard tier users, we do not maintain reportable personal profiles for automatic exchange systems.

However, we will comply with legally binding judicial requests where required by law.

5. Payment Network & Issuer Disclosure

Transactions processed via Visa or Mastercard networks are subject to their infrastructure rules.

Issuer-level compliance obligations may apply at the institutional level.

Users acknowledge that card networks operate under global regulatory standards, which may include anti-fraud monitoring.

6. Cookies Policy

We use cookies for:

  • Website functionality
  • Security monitoring
  • Performance analytics
  • Session authentication

We do not use invasive tracking cookies for cross-site advertising resale.

Users may disable cookies through their browser settings. However, certain platform functions may not operate correctly if cookies are disabled.

7. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for:

  • Service provision
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security monitoring
  • Legal compliance obligations

Where applicable, operational transaction logs are automatically wiped or anonymized after the defined retention period.

We do not store long-term personal financial histories linked to verified identities.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards, including:

  • Encrypted storage
  • Access control restrictions
  • Network-level security monitoring
  • Secure infrastructure providers

However, no system is completely immune to risk. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials.

We do not store private keys.

Users retain custody of their crypto wallets until funds are transferred to the card for spending.

9. International Users

OkiCard operates globally. By using our services, you acknowledge that data may be processed in jurisdictions where our infrastructure providers operate.

We aim to apply consistent privacy standards regardless of geographic location.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

Material changes will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
